International Cooperation

✓ The EUROLAB Political Strategy aims, among others, to increase the visibility of the laboratory community and to promote meetings with the EU institutions and relevant stakeholders. ✓ In line with this strategy, EUROLAB has created Experts Advisory Groups (EAGs) in key areas e.g. Health & Safety; Calibration & Metrology; Consumer Products; Energy & Energy Efficiency; Medical Laboratories & Devices; Chemicals; Accreditation; Food Agriculture & Animal Health etc… ✓ Comprising subject matter experts from the EUROLAB members, these EAGs help to establish and maintain relations with EU institutions (e.g. the European Commission) and stakeholders. ✓ The aim is to create a network of contacts, who will often communicate between them and will engage with the European Commission, e.g. by providing their input on arising issues.
