Background  2012 study resulted in recommendation to utilize DOT’s SAP system as the Enterprise Grants Management environment  Agreement between OSBM, DOT, and OSC to pursue an interim project with Department of Commerce until a more strategic plan was developed.  Department of Commerce Grants Management application completed in 07/2013  No additional expansion of the enterprise approach has occurred since then OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 2

FY 14 ‐ 15 Status  FY 13 ‐ 14 legislation for SCIO to review and update the implementation plan and establish the Grants Management Oversight Steering Committee  The establishment of a plan is tied closely to the DOT SAP issues presented in February and the on boarding of Dept of Public Safety and Dept of Administration to the DOT SAP environment  No resources from DOT available to address new Grants functionality for the foreseeable future  DOT re ‐ platform initiative is the priority this biennium for SAP environment  Next Steps  Initiate the Grants Management Steering Committee – 4/15/14  Develop long range plan for enterprise SAP, inclusive of Grants management and budget requirements OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 3
