ENOHE: Why? Amsterdam 2003 ff.

  • The ENOHE founding fathers and mothers of 2003

gathered in order to launch a European network of people interested in the same issue: promoting the idea of ombudsmen in higher education.

  • The diversity of the roles of the ombudsman in the

European Higher Education Area (EHEA) (and elsewhere) has enhanced the possibilities of discussing and developing existing and future models.

have exchanged their experiences and working methods

– conflict (relationship) management – alternative dispute resolution – mediation and – general ombudsman tasks and duties as carried out in several European countries (and overseas) thru academic ombudsmen
