How to Turn Abstract words into an image

  • 1. What is the first image that comes to mind when I read this

word? ( Eg. GST)

  • 2. Symbolization (Eg. Hot = Coffee)
  • 3. Break it in to words ( Eg. Catastrophic)
  • 4. Sounding ( Eg. Karma = car)

20

slide-20
SLIDE 20

Seriously, Can you come up with an image for any word?

Consider this word : ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHICALLY . I would break the word like this:

ELECTRO + ENCEPHALO+ GRAPHICALLY .

ELECTRO leads to electricity leads to image of wire ENCEPHALO : Last part “ Phalo” has a sound of “File”. It leads to image of “ File” GRAPHICALLY has a word “ Graph”, mathematics term. It leads to image of my mathematics professor . Final image is : A HUGE wire wrapped around a HUGE File and the file is burning and my TINY mathematics professor is trying to pick it up.
