Objectives of the DSDP Awards

“Awards for Excellence in District Skill Development Planning” seek to recognize the excellence in creating the most functional and innovative District Skill Development Plan (DSDP) Plan of action for skilling, matching the demand of skilled individuals through targeted supply- side interventions, with emphasis on inclusion of women and other marginalized groups. Functional & Innovative District Plan Celebrate excellence in innovative and best practices that have or will result in enhanced access, quality and capacity in skill development resulting in better demand-supply matching, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Matching Skill Demand with Supply Provide opportunity for meaningful exchange of ideas and innovative practices' and promote peer learning for developing sound skill development plans.   • Out of 700+ Districts invited to participate, 225 Districts

participated in the “Awards for Excellence in District Skill Development Planning’.

  • The evaluation process of the proposals received from

Special, Aspirational & General category of districts includes (i) Duplication Check, (ii) Completion Check, (iii) Quality Review, (iv) Empowered Committee Review and (v) Presentation Review.
