 CalVegan is an app for the android that provides

recipes for vegans and vegetarians.

 We focus on foods that are meant to be cooked

• utdoors—particularly on camping trips and/or hikes.

 Vegans and vegetarians are a minority. Because of this,

and the rather limiting nature of their diets, there is a distinct lack of variety in food choices.

 Especially on camping trips with non-veg friends, how

can they figure out who cooks and what everyone eats?

 Our app focuses on making these decision easier for

• ur user.

 By providing a way of adding and modifying recipes we

help with the variety

 The user can review, rate, and favorite recipes and send

the recipes to their friends.

 The mobile device platform allows this app to be taken

absolutely anywhere, which is especially useful for going on trips outdoors.

 Our app makes food preparation easier for our user by

providing videos, instructions, shopping help, and sharing.

 The lo-fi prototype revealed flaws in our original

designs including:

 Review buttons afforded clicking better  Keep interface simple  Bigger fonts for recipes names and alternative

positioning for buttons to grab attention for clicking
