In your July 17th correspondence you "endorse a request for access to S-Band satellite communications frequencies". The M ichigan National Guard is also supportive of a request to support a ‘ground station’ and satellite communications for the benefit to AFRL (US Air Force) and/ or consistent with the referenced CRADA. Per our conversation, a northern M ichigan ground station is beneficial to the Air Force and a ground station located on Camp Grayling would be beneficial to AFRL programs, to include the coordination of future AFRL testing (and/ or evaluation) in conjunction with the Northern Strike Exercise.
