Swim Bike Run Tri + Prize = TRIATHLON
Tri + Unity = TRINITY “May the grace of the Lord Jesus the Anointed, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit remain with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13:14
Tri + Cut Apart = TRICHOTOMY “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength...’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Mark 10:277
Genesis 3:1 The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild
animals the LORD God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”
2 “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the
garden,” the woman replied. 3 “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”
4 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.
5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon
as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
6 The woman was convinced.
She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious,
and she wanted the wisdom it would give her.
So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.
7 At that moment their eyes were opened, and they
suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.
11 “Who told you that you were naked?” the LORD
God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?”
12 The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me
who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.”
13 Then the LORD God asked the woman, “What
have you done?” “The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.”
Job 1-2 Job’s HEART was TESTED to see if he would forsake God Job’s SOUL was TEMPTED to believe God had forsaken Him Job’s STRENGTH was TRIED to the limit of pain and suffering Job’s NEIGHBORS and WIFE were instruments of his torture
Luke 4:1 Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from
the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, 2 where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry. 3 Then the devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become a loaf of bread.”
4 But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People
do not live by bread alone.’” [Deuteronomy 8:3]
5 Then the devil took him up and revealed to him all
the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 “I will give you the glory of these kingdoms and authority over them,” the devil said, “because they are mine to give to anyone I please. 7 I will give it all to you if you will worship me.”
8 Jesus replied, “The Scriptures say, ‘You must
worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’” [Deuteronomy 6:13]
9 Then the devil took him to Jerusalem, to the
highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! 10 For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect and guard you. 11 And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’” [Psalm 91:11- 12]
12 Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You
must not test the Lord your God.’” [Deuteronomy 6:16]
13 When the devil had finished tempting Jesus, he
left him until the next opportunity came.
14 Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy
Spirit’s power. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole region. 15 He taught regularly in their synagogues and was praised by everyone.
Luke 22:31-32 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift
each of you like wheat. But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”
Hosea 12:4 Brought to his knees, Jacob wept and
him at Bethel. That’s where he spoke with him.
By his wounds you are healed. 1 Peter 1:24b He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. 1 Peter 1:24a
“The Lord will give you prosperity in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, blessing you with many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops.” Deuteronomy 28:11 But if you refuse to listen to the Lord your God and do not
decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overwhelm you…” Deuteronomy 28:15
“Children, always obey your parents, for this pleases the Lord.” Colossians 3:20 “Fathers, do not aggravate your children, or they will become discouraged.” Colossians 3:21
“Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.” Colossians 3:24 “But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites.” Colossians 3:25
“Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage.” Hebrews 13:4a “God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.” Hebrews 13:4b
Ephesians 6:12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
