  5. Development History The Group Renewables Experience business line Global Overview 2017 Net renewable capacity additions, 2006 – 2023 It was a record year for renewable 350 power . More than two-thirds of global net electricity capacity 300 growth were added. Solar PV capacity expanded the most , at 97 250 GW, being driven mostly by China. 200 150 2018 - 2023 100 The International Energy Agency’s forecast expects a growth by over 50 1 TW in renewable capacity, in the period 2018 to 2023 . Solar PV will 0 2006 - 2011 2011 - 2017 2018 - 2023 dominate the renewable capacity growth in that period, with 575 GW Wind Hydropower Bioenergy Utility-scale PV Distributed PV Other renewables of new capacity expected to OECD/IEA become operational. 6. Development History The Group Renewables Experience business line The European Union Overview • The European Union aims to reduce its dependence on imported fossil fuels and improve its energy security , using more renewable energies to meet its energy needs. • The last agreement from the European Parliament, the Council, and the Commission was to expand the period of the targets from 2020 to 2030 and increase the growth of renewables in gross final consumption of energy from 20% to 32%, with a clause for an upwards revision by 2023. • Solar energy is set to become the largest source of electricity generation in Europe by 2050 , increasing its share of total consumption from about 5% in 2018 to 36% in 2050. Spain Overview • Spain aims to increase its share of renewable energy from 17% in 2016 to 42% by 2030 , which means that renewable energy production will have to increase by 74% as the National Action Plan for Renewable Energy in Spain states. That means an increase in renewable installed capacity of 157 GW – of which wind energy accounts for 50 GW, with solar energy capacity increasing by 37 GW. • In order to meet the national targets of 74% renewable share in the Spanish electricity mix by 2030 , UNEF (Spain’s Photovoltaic Union) and the Government project a yearly growth of 3,000 MW (3 GW) of solar PV over the next years, increasing total installed capacity from 5GW in 2018 to 42 GW in 2030. • Currently Spain is one of the most exciting solar markets in Europe , as a result of removing the ‘sun tax’ and committing to switch entirely to solar and renewable electricity by 2050.

  7. Development History The Group Renewables Experience business line Latin America Overview • Latin America hosts some of the most dynamic renewable energy markets . The region has more than a quarter of the primary energy coming from renewables. • Hydropower is the largest source of power generation in the region , accounting for 170,792 MW of installed capacity in 2018 and having more than 85% of all electricity generated. • After wind power, solar photovoltaic plays an important role in the region . In 2018, the total installed capacity accounted for 6.1 GW in Latin America. Mexico Overview • Mexico’s government is aiming to achieve by 2024 and 2050 a contribution share from clean technologies to the energy mix of 35% and 50%, respectively . Furthermore, auctions have been one of the main regulatory instruments used to promote renewables in the country, allowing the increase of private investment and a large pipeline of projects. • The Ministry of Energy from Mexico (SENER) is implementing the market of clean energy certificates, based in the obligations of large consumers who must have a minimum consumption of clean energy in their own energy mix, from 5% in 2018 to 13.9% in 2022 .

  8. Development History The Group Renewables Experience business line Services 1 Development • Identification of strategic markets to offer attractive investment opportunities worldwide . • Studying the location where the facility is going to be implemented: natural factors such as time of solar radiation available. • Development of renewable projects, based on technical design to obtain the permits, licenses and authorizations ( PLAs) to operate the plants. • Provision of all permits, licenses and authorizations necessary, including follow-up required for obtaining permits. • Knowledge of the regulation and policies on renewable energy in the different countries. • Working with local partners to provide knowledge and experience of their own country to streamline the permitting and construction. • Hiring legal and technical offices internationally recognized for granting us security at different steps of development. • Planning, strategy definition and identification of potential investors .
