Contact tracing is “the process of identification of persons who may have come into contact with an infected person ("contacts") and subsequent collection
further information about these contacts. By tracing the contacts
infected individuals, testing them for infection, treating the infected and tracing their contacts in turn, public health aims to reduce infections in the population”.
Doing this sort of detective work will be key to getting the country moving again.
It's a job that requires good communication skills and an interpersonal touch, drawing sensitive information out of people Having details on who infected people have interacted with helps slow the spread
the COVID-19 and gives authorities important information on how to focus their resources.
