what is a degree plan?

A degree plan is a 4-year plan that maps out your classes for your next 4 years of high

  • school. Each of you will also have your own personal graduation plan that will follow

you throughout high school. Your PGP (Personal Graduation Plan) will be in Skyward, and each degree plan can be found on the PHS website.

Can I change degree plans?

Yes and No. At the end of your freshman year you can. It is not recommended after that because of class sequences for the endorsement you are tracking.

Fine Art credit

Every student needs 1 credit of a Fine Art to graduate. Options include: 1. Art 2. Theatre Arts 3. Principles of Floral Design 4. Dance 5. Orchestra 6. Choir 7. 2 years of Band (.5 credit each year)

p.e. credit

Every student needs 1 year of PE to graduate Exemptions: 1. A student who is in an athletic sport for 1 year will receive PE credit 2. 1 year of JROTC will count as 1 year of PE 3. 2 years of band will count as 1 year of PE Addition of a sport will REQUIRE Coach Approval
