A – History 1 year of World History and 1 year of U.S. History B – English 4 years of college prep English C – Math 3 years of college prep math (Integ Math 1a-1b, Integ Math 2a-2b, Integ Math 3a-3b) D – Science 2 years of laboratory science (Biological and Physical) E – World Language 2 years of the same language F – Visual or Performing Arts 1 year of the same discipline (Visual Art, Theatre, Music) G – College Prep Elective 1 year chosen from the “a-f” courses beyond those used to satisfy the requirements above, or courses that have been approved solely in the elective area

  • Students take 4 or 5 classes a day, three trimesters per year.

  • Select classes with YOUR strengths in mind.
  • Consider all of your activities (sports, extracurricular activities, etc).
  • Build a balanced schedule. Don’t forget you need to SLEEP, spend time with family

and friends, including taking care of your health.

  • Choose between 4 to 5 classes each trimester.
  • Academic habits matter: Time Management, Organization, Personal Responsibility,

& Self Advocacy Develop and keep up these good habits to be prepared for the rigors of high school!
