  3. introduction • Customer bandwidth prioritizing on demand using real- time pricing on existing infrastructure.

  4. current situation • Users get low bandwidth in peak hours while the load on the system/infrastructure is high. • The problems with the current solution are: o Data bits are being sold at loss rates o Network capacities are reaching their limits o The demand for bandwidth is constantly growing o The overall QoS is not satisfying • During peak hours, the network is getting overwhelmed with information, causing the customers to get slow connection.

  7. methodology • Develop a smartphone client app • Expand billing capability • Configure the network and apply the change • Gather geo statistics • Marketing - Advertisements and early adapters benefits • Training customers service representatives

  8. risks o Users can stay hung in the service Hence -> validate disconnect after few mins. • Load stats checks can overload the network Hence-> unload the stats to phone on a random time in morning

  9. milestones • High bandwidth demand detection (Weeks 1-3). • Development of the module responsible for hung service detection(Week 5-6). • Development of the statistical Database interface (Weeks 7-8). • Development of the billing app and usage counter (Weeks 9-10). • Final integration testing (Weeks 11-12).
