Privacy

COMING WITH A MORE SECURE WAY TO PROTECT THE STUDENTS PRIVACY, INSTEAD OF USING THEIR REAL NAMES FOR THEIR EMAIL. OTHER SCHOOL DISTRICTS HAVE ASSIGNED NUMBERS (LIKE A MEDICAL RECORD NUMBER) TO PROTECT OUR STUDENTS IDENTIFY, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THE SCHOOL IS USING SUCH A LARGE PLATFORM AS GOOGLE CLASSROOM, AS WELL AS OTHER SOFTWARE PROGRAMS. Thankfully our infrastructure is not accessible from outside accounts. The

  • nly users who will be able to see student email accounts are other members

CIF Guidelines

  • What is the latest news with CIF

regulations?

  • I know guidance from the CIF will

determine much of what we do but I hope that if CIF allows for sports competition that we follow that plan and allow our students to engage in athletic

competition, can our students still train, even if through zoom, so they can develop their conditioning?

  • What new protocols will be

needed?

19

QUESTIONS

  • Latest guidelines released June 12th for physical

activity/training.

  • The use of outdoor spaces is being

looked into for planning extra- curricular activities for students following all required guidelines.

  • Logistical matters such as

supervision, social distancing and sharing and cleaning of equipment must be considered.

20

slide-21

HOW CAN ATHLETICS BE DONE SAFELY? WHAT ARE THE PLANS?

  • Communication between schools and athletic

directors that they are implementing required health and safety guidelines as well.

HOW WILL YOU KEEP STUDENTS SAFE WHEN COMPETING WITH OTHER SCHOOLS?

  • Depends on the “3-phase” guidelines of the CIF and

the County.

  • WILL PARENTS BE ABLE TO
