JPM Chase on 27th and 28th July, 2013.
2 teams have won Ist and 3rd position under the U.G. level category in the
“Avishkar 2012 –Research convention”
Mumbai.
4 teams of IT & CS students qualified for the onsite regional round for the
prestigious ACM-ICPC Asia regional held at Amritapuri, in December-2012,
1 team of Bio-Medical Engg., secured 2nd position for project “Saline Level
Detector” presented at International Business Summit held in IIM, Calcutta.
1 student (Nirdh Mehta) of IT won a Consolation Prize at National Level
Amdocs „CodeMania 2012‟.
1 student (Siddharth Bhayani) of IT won a Tech. Quiz at TCET. Team comprising of three students were declared winners of Zonal, State and
National level Infosys Aspirations 2020 programming contest (Nov 2009 - Mar 2010).

Our team comprising of three students qualified for world finals of
programming contest ACM ICPC from a total of 7319 teams from 1931 universities in 82 countries across six continents and came in honorable mention (from among 103 selected teams). For this contest, there were only three teams selected from India including DJSCOE (Feb 5, 2010).
Our team comprising of three students stood 3rd twice in Asia
Region for Programming Competition held at Amritapuri, Kerala State Site (Nov 1, 2009 and Dec 6, 2008).
Our team comprising of three students ranked 4th in Asia Region
for Programming Competition held at Gwalior and Kanpur (Oct 3- 4, 2009).

One student (Mauli Vora) is selected in University of Mumbai‟s Squash
Team & Team won 1st position in All India University Men‟s Team Championship held at Gwalior. Her current Ranks: 9th in India Junior Circuit, 44th in Asian Junior Circuit and 121st in World Junior Circuit . Reached Round 2 (Top 32) amongst 28 countries (Apprx. 900 players) at „Mile All Star Squash Championship at Malaysia, May 2012. Reached Round 1 at PBA Penang Malaysia Junior Open, at Malaysia, June 2012. Pre-Quarter Finalist at 4th Indian Junior Open, at Chennai, August 2012.

Butterfly-Silver, 50m Backstroke-Bronze,100m Brestroke-Bronze,100m Freestyle-Bronze at sports festival organized by VJTI.
Our girl team won Bronze Medal in Girls Relay at sports festival organized by
VJTI.
1 student (Amrita Aurora) has won Medals in swimming competition: 50m
Butterfly-Silver at sports festival organized by COP, Pune.
1 student (Jyot Rekhi) has won the runners up in Badminton singles and first
place in mixed doubles at sports festival organized by COP, Pune.
Our Boys Volleyball Team won Silver Medal at sports event held at
SPIT, Mumbai.
Our cricket team has secured first place at sports festival organized by Thakur
college of Engg.
3 students (Dhruvit Shah, Harshil Jhaveri, Sahil Kadam & Harsh Nisar) were
ranked 2nd in Inter-zone & 5th rank all over University of Mumbai, at the sports event held at University of Mumbai.

Cricket team won three tournaments at VJTI, KEM and UICT colleges
and runners up at RGIT.
Football team won at Saboo Sidique and Thakur College and was runner
up at MIT, Pune.
Table tennis team won at MIT and COEP, Pune and was runner up at
BITS, Pilani.
Girls throw-ball team won at Saboo Sidhique and Thakur College. One student (Rushabh Shroff) won best tennis player award at MIT,
Pune and BITS, Pilani.
One student (Yadhnesh Pathare) has won overall 6 gold medals and 2
silver medals at BITS Pilani, MIT Pune and COEP Pune in swimming competition.
One student (Akshay Parmar) has won best player award at MIT Pune
for football.

One of our alumni of 2008 batch became the gold medalist at IIM,
Ahmedabad, the first of its kind for a student from a private engineering college.
