Welcome to Translignum
Established in 1997, the Czech company Translignum s.r.o. originally had in scope log and fresh lumber
- trading. Over the years, the growth of the business
made the focus move towards sawn timber
- f higher added value and wooden products.
Production of dried sawn timber and furniture elements for entrepreneurs was followed by building a net of retail stores. Yet another big step was marked by start of own production of solid wood panels, hardwood massive flooring (T&G), hardwood cut veneers (wear/top-layer) and spruce mid-layer for engineered flooring. Translignum sees sustainable forest production as a must and is therefore fully FSC certified.

HARDWOOD SAWN TIMBER
However, among our continuously offered assortment still belongs edged and unedged sawn timber and boules in hardwood. We specialize mainly in hardwood species of American Walnut, and European White Oak; we offer absolutely clean White Ash, we cut and produce sawn timber of Acacia, European Walnut, European Beech, and other species.

From the wood of Oak, Beech, American and European Walnuts plus some tropical species we cut elements and produce solid wood panels in our own production facility in Jevíčko. On the following page please see short overview of finger joint panels. Continuous panels are custom-made. Kindly contact us sending your specifications and quality requirements.

HARDWOOD LAMELLAS
Our hardwood lamellas are welcomed by many flooring producers for their high quality. We offer Oak, Cherry, Ash, Hornbeam, or Walnut lamellas.

Solid hardwood flooring is offered in Oak, and Ash with tongue and groove and a slight bevel.
