  25. LOCALIZING OF CHASSIS FRAME ASSEMBLY The program for localizing parts such as the steel chassis frame of recreational Vehicles (pick-ups, AUVs, SUVs) was a program developed by KPC for several Local car assemblers. The objectives are to reduce costs of the assembler, avoiding bulky shipments which save in logistics costs, avoiding ordering stock to reduce cost of money and warehouse area and to strengthen local technical support for parts which are manufactured in Philippines. Successful enough KPC has delivered chassis frame assembly and paint to car assemblers locally and enjoy the benefits of localized developments.
