  3. Goal for 2016-2017 To continuously improve student learning through aligned common assessments that measure achievement of the application of State Standards and 21 st century skills identified in the C-H mission and vision and are used to inform/support professional practice. 3

  39. Data Trends - AP ● AP enrollment continues to increase (474 exams taken in 2017) ● Percentage of 3+ scores rose to 84% (highest in last 5 years) ● Every AP exam’s 5-year weighted average is above the global average save one (chemistry) ● Number of AP Scholars is at an all-time high (111) 39

  40. Data Trends - ACT ● Over half of our students take the ACT (59% in 2017) ● CHHS is above NYS in all areas tested ● English composition is particularly strong (96% college ready) ● Reading subscore showed a significant jump (25.2 to 27.4) . 40

  41. Data Trends - Regents ● Students have more choice as to which tests to take ● Fewer students take additional Regents exams ● ELA results are particularly strong given all students take it (79% at level 5) ● Regents exams in general are not a barrier to graduation . 41

Other Trends ● Changing demographics (ELLs, Economically disadvantaged) ● Increase use of Technology (Nureva Span System, Chromebooks, Google Classroom, CHTV) ● Increase use of data (Alpine, Renaissance STAR, Achieve 3000) ● Number of college rep visits has significantly increased (51 to 80) 42
