Impact of EPPM program to Ti Timor - Leste L t -TL as new member country to CCOP but we are active to attend every TL as new member country to CCOP but we are active to attend every workshop, training, courses and conferences which implemented by CCOP secretariat trough EPPM program such as geosciences training, every CCS workshop and database management. -Increasing the knowledge's and experiences for young geologist, manager and policy maker from Petroleum Regulatory Authority (ANP) and Natural Resources Ministry in the area of geosciences, geo-environment and geo- information. - Increasing the knowledge's or understanding about the impact of CO2 emission to climate change and CCS is one of the solution to this problem. - To share the knowledge learned from the EPPM program to the our g p g organization was made a similar presentation to all staff as obligation. - We recommend to CCOP secretariat to publish all the list of the participant and resources person in CCOP website for future networking.

Enhancing our knowledge about the impact of green house p g gas(GHG) to climate change -Politically president ,Parliament member and government (prime Minister) has strong commitments to the issue of climate change. Those commitments shown in national strategic plan from energy policy department , state that by 2012 50% from 40% of total household who lived in the rural area will be y electrified by using the alternative energy source such as solar cell, biogas, microhidro turbine and wind energy. TL has national programme for planting tree in all territory from ministry agriculture and forestry and secretariat of state for environment, also introduce the modern agriculture to the farmers. i lt t th f -Legally, Timor-Leste has ratified UNFCC. - In natural resources management our petroleum act and PSC model not allowed to flare the gas , except flaring for testing propose - Tl, at the moment we don not have any geosciences organization having specific role to climate chage. g

(Continue) (Continue) -Organization involve in the area of climate change are Secretariat of State for Natural Resources (SERN), National Petroleum Authority Resources (SERN), National Petroleum Authority (ANP), Secretariat of State for Energy Policy, Department of Environment, Agriculture and Fishier Ministry, meteorology and geophysics Fishier Ministry, meteorology and geophysics department, National disaster Management Unit and NGO`s.

Post EPPM Recommendation -Timor-Leste as young nation in the stage of nation building we need continuation support from donor organization and donor countries specifically Norway, in the area of resources management and revenue management. - We need continuation assistance from Norway in the are of global climate change specifically, transfer the knowledge, experiences and technology for CCS to reduce the carbon emission in the Asia region. i - We need continuation sharing knowledge and experiences among CCOP member country in the area of geo-resources, geo- environment and and geo-information i t d d i f ti
