The Arts Institutions

Courses are hands-on with a focus in visual and performing arts (e.g. Design, Animation, Fine Arts, Media, Dance, Music). Students graduate with a diploma or degree.

In addition to the GCE A-Levels qualifications, students interested in applying to the Arts Institutions will also need to pass an entrance test or audition, which may include performing a musical piece or submitting a portfolio.

How can I enter a Polytechnic?

EAE

  • Early Admissions Exercise
  • Students who have accepted their conditional offers and met

the admissions criteria for the polytechnic course after the release of their final results will have their offers confirmed.

JAE

  • Joint Admissions Exercise
  • Conducted annually to allow GCE O-Level students to apply for

admission to courses offered by JC, MI, Poly and ITE

  • ELR2B2 is used for admissions into the polytechnics.
  • English Language + 2 RELEVANT subjects for the course

applied for + 2 other best subjects Students must also satisfy the minimum entry requirements for the course they wish to pursue.
