James City County Land Conservation and Greenspace Bond Referendum

Work began in 2004 when Bruce Goodson

attended Government Relations Committee meeting and showed an interest and support for alternative funding for the PDR program.

In 2005 worked with county staff and officials

to get bond on ballot.

Successfully lobbied the BOS to raise bond

from $15 million to $20 million
