– Internal blitz tournament run over 6 weeks
- Townland Challenge – Internal Blitz to celebrate Lá na gClub
- Three separate boys football blitzes
- Girls football blitz – 8 local teams
- Run very successful Cúl Camp with 130 attendees
Represents 90 hours of training & matches locally
What did we attend this year
- Indoor hurling blitzes – run over 4 weeks
– 2 teams entered
- Local Football Blitzes – run over 8 weeks
– 3 teams played in all, fielded 4 teams in some
- Local Hurling Blitzes – run over 6 weeks
- Invitational Blitzes
– An Riocht, Newbridge, Carryduff x 2, Rasharkin
- Dunloy Indoor Football Blitz
Represents 80 hours of playing competition
Achievements
- Improved numbers attending training and blitzes
– Averaging 60 attendees this year at training – Up from 45 previous years – Attracting footballers from local parishes unable to offer football
- Fielded 2 teams in the NA Indoor Hurling
– Both teams won their respective leagues and brought the first new silverware to our new trophy cabinets
- Got to the final of Rasharkin Football Blitz
- Started a girls football team and had a very successful
year.
– Got to the semi final of Carryduff and our own local blitz – Martinstown Girls won the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol championship
