Major Commands on Fort Gordon

Fort Gordon Total Population: 30,000+

FORSCOM /INSCOM (11%)

35th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade provides expeditionary tactical signal support to COCOMs.

  • 525th PED Battalion provides processing,

exploitation, and dissemination of intel. 116th MI BDE provides Army-wide Aerial ISR support;

  • 513th MI BDE provides tailored intelligence

support to US Army Central (ARCENT).

Training & Doctrine (30%)

Cyber CoE is the Army’s force modernization proponent for cyberspace, signal, and EW operations; trains the Cyber and Signal Soldiers through the Cyber School, Signal School, and NCO Academy

USAR/ARNG (5%)

US Army Reserve and US Army National Guard units conduct weekend training on Fort Gordon in support

  • f their War time missions.

Fort Gordon is the Army’s modern Power Projection Platform in support of 24/7 Warfighter Operations NSA (22%)

NSA-G conducts missions in support of the NSA and provides support to ARCYBER operations.

  • 706th MI BDE provides command and

control to NSA-Georgia including 480th ISR (USAF), NAVIOCOM (USN), and a Marine detachment, supporting NSA-G missions.

ARCYBER (11%)

ARCYBER HQ maintains the Army Network, conducts Cyberspace Operations and synchronizes Information Operations across the entire Army; JFHQ-Cyber synchronizes

  • perational cyber missions with the Joint Force.

NETCOM operates and manages the Army network for ARCYBER. 7th SIG CMD (T) conducts DODIN operations within the Western Hemisphere, CPB and 782nd MI BN provide global Army-wide Cyber support.

IMCOM / MEDCOM (21%)

US Army Garrison provides and integrates base operations support; DDEAMC provides world-class medical support to Fort Gordon and the southeast region.

Cyber CoE Campus Overview

❑ Installation:

▪ Gate-6 @ US 78 project ($33M) awarded 14SEP. 12th Street expansion funded by IMCOM in FY18 ($9M) ▪ ARCYBER HQs/CPT projects ($180M) are underway with relocation planned (~730 pax) to FT Gordon on schedule (June-August 2020). ▪ INSCOM Building Renovation Projects (5) are underway, with their proposed MILCON HQs bldg in Design. ▪ First phase of installation wide communications improvement project underway, (Comms Hub relocation $2.6M) // Next Step is the Comms Fiber Ring upgrade

❑ CCoE Campus:

▪ FY16 Winship Hall renovation project ($14M) complete; SIPR MOD underway ▪ CCoE Campus MILCON project # 1 ($99M-Cyber School classrooms/labs) @ 65% design. Construction Scheduled for JUN 2019 ▪ MILCON Project #2 (~$117M-Signal School classrooms/labs) 35% design in OCT 2018. Construction Update

  • Maintain Construction Projects to the extent possible; many projects are slowing based on

construction material availability, but no work stoppages

  • ARCYBER HQ fit-out ongoing; building will be ready for occupation in June
  • GO homes – bids received 7 April (Local & out-of-town firms). Local firm awarded the

contract.

  • MCA 1 – Potential award in June; construction to begin as early as August
  • Vincent Hall RLBs – potential award in June
  • Barracks 24406, 24407 scheduled for funding 1 September
  • Barton Field track project began 20 April; runners allowed back on o/a 29 June
  • North Range Road project began 4 May; western portion complete, now on eastern portion

– completion by Labor Day weekend

  • Lane & 25th traffic circle completed

Local Policy Updates

  • TRADOC has approved sterile transport from Basic Training to AIT, and from AIT to first

unit of assignment

  • Restricted Child Daycare activities to DDEAMC, First Responders, Drill Sergeants, and

select mission personnel

  • Establishment of drive-through Pharmacy and COVID screening clinic
  • Official business visitors only at Fort Gordon
  • Gate lanes have been reduced; gate hour changes in effect
  • DFMWR programs had been largely suspended; PWAR, Golf Course, TASC open on a

limited schedule

  • Commissary open for Active Duty and their dependents only from 0900-1300 daily (open

1000 on Sunday)

  • 4th of July activities cancelled; some events moving to Fall Fest
