Systems of power that determine the range of social contexts and the distribution of populations into those social contexts: • Economic system Social • Racism • Homophobia Determinants • ”isms” of Equity Social determinants of HEALTH answers the question – “Why do we see this distribution of behavior” Social determinants of EQUITY answers the question – “Why do we see this distribution of contexts?”
