Learning starts with Librarians. Autonomy, Creativity, Responsibility. Books are cool. Stuff in them is cooler. NO Fear of Job Loss. Empowerment. NO Fear of damaged/stolen materials. Better Risk/Reward Analysis. Forging new Partnerships. BE VISIBLE. DAILY. Food and Drink ok. Cafe, even better. Wayfinding is cheap. But PRICELESS . Encouraging Exploration. Librarians out from behind the desk. Security doesn't = Greeter. Shelves away from windows. Best Floors need used. Comfortable Seating & Brighter Color s. Open Sundays?
