Foundation of the enterprise as a foundry by brothers Christian and Friedrich Maier in an old brewery. First patent for rotary joints, the so called stuffing box.

Founding of Maier Italia S.r.l. , the first independent, wholly owned subsidiary in the north of Milan.

The company is managed in the 4th generation by Florian Maier and Andreas Greiner.

We offer ATEX certified rotary joints of various series according to 2014/34/EU, category 2G approved for classes T2, T3 and T4. We supply these special rotary joints in compliance with the required ATEX specification upon request.
