2017-2018NC law class size law passed House Bill 13 entered to ask for relief General Assembly agreed on a phase in plan allowing an average of 20 students in K-3
The Process…..
❏ Reviewed student enrollment numbers for 2017-2018 ❏ In collaboration with Data Manager, brainstormed multiple
- ptions for how to meet the criteria
❏ Strategically chose grade levels which would be lower in regards to class size as I evaluated the need for co-teaching ❏ Met with school based leadership team for feedback and suggestions (Spring) ❏ Collaborated with immediate supervisor and the Deputy Superintendent ❏ Met with school based leadership team (End of Year)
