This morning, we are going to take some time to read the book. There is a youtube video with Ms Newton reading the story as well as a scanned copy of book on the school website. As it is a picture book, have a think about the types of features you might focus on?

As it is a picture book, so there are many things to focus on: * The main text * The pictures - there are lots of hidden details to find! * Additional text e.g. adverts, cover flaps, the blurb etc.
