Point 2 Plan

• SM-I (sec. 8) disassembly finish = Wed.
• Shipping SM-II (and part of SM-I) chambers to GSI = Wed.
• SM-III

In the rotator already. Move to CR on Thu. and start on Fri.

• Sec. 7 final preparation ~ Nov. 17.

Installation to sec. 7 = Nov. 24, 25. Service connections & commissioning = Nov. 26, till end of Dec.

• Shipping rest of the chambers & 2 (or 1?) hulls … when SM-VI arrives.
• SM-VI

Arrival … End of Nov. (expectation). Testing … whole Dec. Installation to Sec. 1 … end of Dec. or beg. Jan.

• Sec. 8 LV patch cords installation ~ Nov.
• SM-I and SM-II Sec. 8 + 0 installation ~ end of Feb.
• Gas system leak tightness tests necessary (scan all sectors in BSF) ~ Nov..
• Cooling solving for Sec. 10.
• Commissioning and cosmic runs with sectors 0, 1, 7, 8, 9, 17 (+10, 16?).
• End of shutdown … May 1st.

Cooling problem:

S2L5 S3L5

We found strong bent of cooling tubes

Optical output problem:

fiber (20) broken

confirmed with other ORIs and other fibers

fiber not connected at patch panel behind No problem after connecting fiber at patch panel

Investigation of the problems

DCS board dead:

S2L5

flashing firmware using JTAG failed with some errors Need to investigate more detail in KIP

New problem happened during disassembly

DCS board on S3L5 can never be on.

0.8V instead of ~5V at the input of DCS board PDB is reason (no power from PDB to DCS of S3L5)

confirmed that DCS board is fine by using another line of the power.
