Fine Arts Participation

• 100% elementary students participate in Music & Art.
• All students in middle and high school participate in a fine arts course.
• 81 % of middle school and 42% of high school students enroll in fine

arts courses beyond the minimum requirement.

58% of RRISD Top Ten Graduates were enrolled in sequential Fine Arts Courses

• Cedar Ridge - 5 of the top 10
• McNeil - 8 of the top 10
• Round Rock - 5 of the top 10
• Stony Point - 4 of the top 10
• Westwood - 7 of the top 10

RRISD Music Programs are Recognized at the State and National Levels

27 students were selected to participate in the the state-level Visual Art Scholastic Event.

44 students were selected to participate in all-state band, choir or

42 student actors qualified at the national level in the International Thespian Society for Theatre .
