Binkley Street 156 College Road Soldotna, Alaska 99669 Soldotna, Alaska 99669 Purpose: In addition to the general Tech Prep Agreement between the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA)/Kenai Peninsula College (KPC) and Kenai Peninsula Borough School District (KPBSD), we have agreed to the following processes and criteria with respect to the program of

  • 1. The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District will award high school credit for the following CTE course provided

through a partnership between UAA/KPC and the Alaska Tech Prep Consortium. Kenai Peninsula College will also award credit for the following class: UAA/KPC KPBSD EDEC A105 Intro Early Childhood 3 credits Child Development I &II 1 credit

  • 2. Kenai Peninsula Borough School District will provide the instructor and falities necessary for this course.
  • 3. KPBSD students will complete an application form to be accepted into the class.
  • 4. In order to receive concurrent credit, the student will register for the Tech Prep class during the semester in

which the competencies will be completed. The UAA/KPC grade posted will be the grade earned for that semester.
