Note Mayor visit to Cabot, Clifton and Clifton East. See appendix x.

  • The CCCE NP visit from the Mayor took place 08:30 to 12:30 on 8 July 2015.
  • Although the itinerary for the visit was challenging all aspects of the visit were
  • delivered. The Mayor’s office has produced notes and actions from the visit

which are attached.

  • Our role will be to work with the Mayor and his office moving forward to ensure

that actions are achieved. Note Resident Parking Scheme Review Updates

  • The results of the Cliftonwood and Hotwells RPS review has now been

published on the Bristol City Council website. Follow the link below, and click on ‘scheme review’.

Boundary Commission Review and NPs

  • Local Government Boundary Commission for England changes to Bristol ward

boundaries will be implemented for the May 2016 elections.

  • This will result in a change to Neighbourhood Partnership boundaries.
  • Changes to NP boundaries are mostly minor. The largest change is to Whitchurch

Park which will join Stockwood, Hengrove and Whitchurch Neighbourhood Partnership as part of the new Hengrove and Whitchurch Park ward. – Some NPs now have different numbers of councillors on the neighbourhood committee – numbers of councillors range from 3 to 7. – A limited number of projects / s106 funds may change NP – all previous formal decisions must be honoured. – There may be some people who now live within a different NP. – The NP plans will stay the same with some local tweaks if required – The NP budget will stay the same – All decisions that have already been made by NPs will be honoured even if the project comes within an area that has moved to another NP.
