The Story Starts like this:

The story begins back in 1982 when the architect Rena Santamouris was born. From the time she took a pencil in her hand she forgot to put it down, covering every inch of any flat surface she could find! Her dream came true in 2006 when she graduated from the School of Architecture at the National Technical University

• f Athens, Greece. During 2003-2004, she worked for the Athens Olympic Games, in the City Operations Department,

as a designer at the “Look of the city” program. She has been practicing architecture eversince, focusing on Detailed Construction Design, Architectural Design & Remodeling, Interior & Object Design. She participated in several inter- national and domestic competitions, winning the first prize in the redesign of Kapnergati Square in Kavala, Greece and a special Mention in the Scorponeri Garden City in Boetia, Greece. Since 2006 she has been specializing in Building Envelopes design – Facade detailed and construction design, working

• n several large-scale projects in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, India and Greece, as a senior architect – design team

leader, for Alutotal S.A. In 2017, she founded her own private Architectural Studio, RS Architecture + Design Studio. The studio’s partners such us architects, designers, civil engineers, are professionals with years of experience in the largest architectural and construction companies in Greece and abroad. • market. The purpose of the thesis was to gather and house

the NTUA students’ artistic activities in one place, at the University Campus of Zografou, the “Arts’ Spot”. The architectural program includes, besides the workshops, an electronic library of arts, an auditorium with capacity

• f 400 seats, and finally meeting places, which connect

all above uses. The area of study is the green space, near the central square, which is located at the convergence of two central paths, to and from the square. The two paths are refracted and penetrate the area, by marking a new alternative route – esplanade. Obtuse tracings create the design grid. The square of the “Arts’ Spot” is planned with reference to the Auditorium – Landmark. The remaining functions are housed in the introvert building volume, surrounding the square. The ground floor gathers uses relevant to the visitors (“public”). The first floor is exclusively referred to the artistic groups (“private”). The double height meeting places, connect the “private” and the “public”. The green roofs are designed to bridge the 10 meters difference in height. Thus, the pedestrian zone is lifted to become the roof, unifying all outdoor paths in a wide “wandering” between “private” and “public”, making the building itself an exhibit.

The project involves the construction of a modern complex in Thriassio Pedio, where the railway and freight activities will be accumulated, which are currently interspersed in facilities all over the capital. Cosmote New Headquarters in Athens Paiania Office Building.

The three-storey office building with three under- ground parking floors, for a company of 1,700 in-house employees and 1,100 parking spaces, is located at Paiania in Attica Greece. The total area of the building amounts to 60000 m2.Due to the fragmented polygonal shape of the plot, the building was conceived as a partially open wooden meter, complying with the local legislative directives and maximising the resulting lot

• coverage. The resulting building volume consists of
