  5.  Pittsgrove, NJ  30 minutes from Philadelphia  Factory hours from 7 AM to 4 PM Eastern Time  Sales and Customer Service 8:30 AM – 8 PM Eastern Time  Daily Shipping (except weekend, holidays) throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and worldwide  sales@uscast.net | Phone: 856.347.2342 | Fax: 856.347.2343 WHERE DO YOU MAKE YOUR CLEAR CAST ACRYLIC TUBES AND RODS?

  6.  We start with liquid MMA (methyl methacrylate) – Lucite MMA monomer  We add our proprietary magic pixie dust formula and it becomes PMMA  We cook and cure the PMMA in special ovens from 8 days to 6 weeks or longer, depending on the OD (for rods) or the OD and wall thickness (for tubes)  We cool the cured tubes and rods out of the ovens for several hours to days  We cut, grind, sand, smooth, and polish to finished size  We confirm product quality and tolerances meet specifications – actually multiple inspections, performed at each stage of manufacture and packaging leads to our superior quality standards  We tenderly and protectively wrap, then mark and store by product type & size  We hand pack your shipment of US Cast rods and tubes for prompt, safe delivery HOW DO YOU MAKE IT?

  7.  US CAST’s cast acrylic rods and tubes conform to specifications of ASTM D5436.  US Cast’s cast acrylic rods and tubes have been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to meet the FDA standards, as specified in CFR 21 177.1010, as articles intended for use in contact with food.  US Cast’s cast acrylic products are UL approved for flame resistance according to UL 94HB.  US Cast’s cast acrylic is produced UVA by default – UVT is available on request as a custom (non-stock) product. DO YOU COMPLY WITH ….. ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CERTIFIED?

  8.  Cast acrylic material, while more expensive than extruded or molded acrylic, is superior for most applications.  Used in many applications in place of extruded or molded acrylic because of better machining properties, greater clarity, better resistance to heat distortion, chemicals, and maintains its hardness and strength.  While cast and extruded acrylic are the same material, PMMA, cast acrylic produces an anisotropic material (physical properties are the same in all directions) with superior physical properties: higher molecular weight; higher tensile strength; greater optical characteristics.  Cast acrylic is unaffected by sunlight or fluorescent light, resists aging, and maintains stability, strength, and appearance CAST VS EXTRUDED

  9.  Outstanding Optical clarity  Superior light transmission properties  Unaffected by sunlight or fluorescent lights  Resists aging  Odorless and tasteless  Weighs half as much as glass  Seventeen times greater impact resistance than glass  Maintains stability under a wide range of temperature and adverse conditions  Easily fabricated – huge benefit and opportunity to deliver added value  Shatter resistant  Very durable PROPERTIES OF CAST ACRYLIC

  10.  Fiber optic illumination conduits  Furniture Frames & Knobs  Art Projects  Electrical/Electronic Components  Clear Fluid Movement  Sight Gauges  Food Containers  Medical testing and therapy treatments  Oil Filter Housings  View Ports on a wide range of industrial  Pressure Vessels equipment and medical devices.  Pneumatic Conveyor Tubes  Candle Molds  Clear Fasteners  Filter Changer  Museum Quality Applications  Signs/Displays - extraordinary optical clarity  Jewelry Displays  Outdoor Lighting Lenses and Displays  Architectural Applications,  General Decorative Purposes, Household items  Kidney Dialysis Connectors (e.g. towel holders, canisters, bath hand holds, cabinet handles, etc.)  Generator Insulators WHO USES IT?
