Ch Challenges = Motivation

Storage space was maxed out
Information flow for Institute documents was narrow
Information was difficult to find
Historical insight needed to make decisions and answer questions
New intranet / internet project on the horizon
Departments and committees were asking the library for help with managing their content
Important documents and photographs were not being donated to the archives
Library was only digitizing content on an as need basis
No external grant money received
