Established as a pilot program with one grant of $200,000 in 1993 Awarded over $1.3 billion in grants; leveraged over $13 billion!

  • 1. In FY09 we plan to award ~$70 million FY09 in grants; Assessment

($200,000), Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) (up to $1 million per applicants, coalitions may apply), Cleanup Grants ($200,000 per site), and Job Training Grants ($200 000) ($200,000)

  • 2. Targeted Brownfield Assessment (TBA) – ask the EPA region.
  • 3. In FY09, we plan to award ~$50 million to State/Tribal Response Programs
