Why are we having this meeting
- Provide background of the BEP program
- Inform the residents of Phase 2 that we are
bidding the project with the intent to construct
- Clarify any concerns of the potential future
construction
- Request emails addresses to provide
communication as we begin construction
- Resolve any issues or concerns for the
construction phase
- Discuss any restoration concerns
Backbone Extension Program
- Extend waterline for needs of the District
- Extend waterlines into areas currently not
served by the District
- Provide treated water in areas that are
needing water – District’s Strategic Goal #1
Alta Sierra to Lake of the Pines
- Provides connection
between Loma Rica and the Lake of the Pines system
- Indicated as an area of
need for water service
- Project is part of
District’s Goal #1 to extend waterlines for water service
- E. Hacienda and Pioneer (Phase 1)
- E. Hacienda section had
32 out of 35 homes signed up for water
- Fire Hydrants installed
approximately every 700 feet
- Project complete and
residents have water
Brewer Road (Phase 2)
- 2015 Proposed Backbone
Extension Project
- Upper section replaces an
existing six inch line and provides necessary hydraulics
- Lower section is
construction of new pipeline that will be available to future residential connections

Future Meetings
- Prior to construction, we will offer any resident to
join us during the videotaping of the construction area and to meet the contractor
