  4. Its ts The word ballet comes from French and means origin dance. It appeared in the 17th century. They sang, danced and recited, just to entretain the nobleman.

  5. AT FIRST IT WAS FORBBIDEN FOR WOMAN TO DANCE, SO MAN DID ALL THE ROLES.

  7. Later, women started to dance too.

  8. This was the first codification of ballet (1820)

  9. Wha hat i is s it? t? Ballet is an important form of art in motion, having great skill and beauty in its interpretation. It is the origin of all the dances. It also includes mime, music and decoration.

  11. FOR TRAINING (girls): Tights. Mallot. Leg warmer.

  12. Pointed shoes. Half pointed shoes.

  13. A short t-shirt. A bun

  14. FOR TRAINING (boys): Fit t-shirt. Tights. Black half-pointed shoes.

  19. BOYS IN BALLET Men play a very important role. Their pirouettes and turns in the air makes the armony in the aire. There are some jumps women can’t do.

  20. PRACTICES Their practice (in men and women) is the same. Except the part of the pointed shoes. Men never take a pointed shoe class. And guys could start dancing some years after girls.

  21. REQUIREMENTS They're physical as well as artistic. The most important are: discipline, flexibility, constancy, a good fitness, train the ears for music, coordination, balance, elegance, capacity of expression and mime.
