  2. 6:33-6:41 (8 minutes) Homework (7 minutes) & Classroom Management Homework: MDG first 5 bullets ( 3minutes) • Maximum of 30 Minutes per day for a maximum of three days • Homework is used as a resource for classroom learning and as an at home resource o Directly relates to what we are doing in the classroom so we are very sorry to say we cannot develop the homework ahead of time for use on vacations. o Homework is practice, does NOT need to be perfect, and is not graded. We are aiming for improvement. • Achievable • Children/parents are encouraged to ask for help • Please feel free to contact me if your child needs any help, modifications, or extensions with any of the homework ¡ assignments. • MDG English- alternating;   Reading  Science/Social  Writing Studies  Math  Cross curricular   Several large projects including • Book report/speech- due after winter break • Bridge Project in spring o RF Japanese- Four Components (4 minutes)  Reading-  Kanji 1 or 2 pages differentiated  Math practice page  Comprehension- differentiated Classroom Management: RF/MDG (1 minute) • Behavior o Zones of Regulation  School wide  Help children recognize behavior appropriate for differing situations  Strategies to foster self-regulation 6:41-6:45 (4 minutes) State Testing • RF/MDG o Smarter balance  Great opportunity to learn and practice test taking skills in a non threatening way  3 rd grade -Richmond children did really well  Spring testing  8 hours of testing  computer skills that translates beyond testing- need to also be practiced at HOME 6:45-6:50 (5 minutes) Questions
