○ Second year of implementation county-wide ○ Curriculum focuses on the conceptual understanding and depends on communication and collaboration among peers

○ Most homework assignments consist of reading portions of our focused text(s) in preparation for the next day’s class. ○ Students will be required to annotate as they are reading. Uniform is required for PE. Students may buy the uniform for $8 top $8 bottom $15 for set. Cash or checks made payable to ELMS. Uniforms will not be required until Sept 16. Gray crew neck t-shirt and any color athletic bottoms can be worn if uniform is not purchased. Sweatshirts may be any color if they are zip up and must be gray if they are a pull over. Laced or velcro sneakers MUST be worn. Students get 4 borrows (if they are unprepared) during a semester. When they borrow, their agenda book will be stamped on the date that they borrow. On the 5th borrow, students will receive a “0” and an incident report. Students will have a PE locker all year to store items and are required to lock up all valuables. ** A print out of the proposed yearly plan and rules for PE will be available
