  4. President’s Blurb 2020 I would like to thank our member companies, the executive committee and sub- committees (Auditors, Membership and Ethics and Young Professionals). The EC and sub- committees put in another amazing year, with their personal and company time invested in the industry for the benefit of us all, and I can’t thank you enough. Our training events, and professional development modules have really taken off, thanks to all of the efforts of the authors and presenters, and even though we had a bit of a hiccup in presentations in person with C19, we now have everything available to attend online, which will provide a huge benefit for our members in the regions. We have continued our engagement and collaboration with QLD DES, with a continued commitment to work openly and constructively for the benefit of the industry and overall environment. It is a key goal of ACLCA QLD to build and maintain a strong and productive relationship with the regulator. Lastly, I would like to thank Jen, our wonderful Executive Assistant, who without, we couldn’t function half as well as we do, and who is responsible for the organisation and coordination of the wonderful training and social events (which will hopefully start back up soon!) Adam Anderson
