Why Move to Christ United Methodist Church [CUMC]?

 In March, Expand Church told us they wanted

to use Church during the week, and that they would not renew lease for Spring, 2019.

 Have had good relationship with Expand, but

felt improved facilities would be desirable anyway.

 Assessed several new site possibilities.

Visited and considered three in depth.

 Settled on CUMC in Southern Village as

  • ffering best balance of cost, receptivity,

facilities and location.

 Southern Village in South Chapel Hill, just off 15-501.

 Four classrooms in two adjacent buildings

 2-3 classroom, kitchen nook & coffee area in Bldg 105  Large classroom [Youth Room] in Bldg 103

 Access to two “Church” Parking lots--behind Bldg

103/105 and the Main Church. Also public parking in area.

 Southern Village residents may walk, and other

members may take the Bus [NS and V Lines] to class.

 Southern Village has Weaver Street Market & other

restaurants/services which members may take advantage of.
