Project Management Qualification (PMQ)

deliver successful projects. Next step: Application process has opened and selection of candidates underway, training to commence in December 2019.

Making Better Use of Project Data

Key aims

  • To support the profession in data driven

decision-making and preparing for the future

  • To help the profession to understand the

role of data analytics and data science in project environments

  • To provide support to communities of

interest in project data analytics

  • To drive standards and best practice in

  • Initially research activity to understand current

maturity levels of data analytics in projects

APM Brand Review

To consider all aspects of APM’s existing brand to determine what changes we should make having been granted our Royal Charter in 2017. Note the current brand was launched in 2005 with a secondary “chartered” brand introduced in 2017. Key Aims

  • Ensure our brand reflects, supports and

communicates APM as an organisation

  • Ensure the opportunities and strengths of

chartered status are leveraged

  • Ensure that APM stands out and remains

salient and relevant to members, potential members and stakeholders.

  • Review APM’s name, now we are chartered

Strategy Implementation

  • Commissioned brand consultancy Frank, Bright

& Abel to conduct this review and recommend a brand strategy – Research: staff, volunteers, members, corporates, non-members, influencers, other external stakeholders

  • Considering options for trading names

Next step: Recommendation from the Brand Review will go to the APM Board in March 2020

  • After two years of operation, the Board held a review of the wording
  • Suggested changes circulated and detail on your chairs. Changes are essentially

‘housekeeping’ and for clarity. Final approval by Privy Council required.

  • Vote and approval required please.

THAT the Charter and By-Laws [as can be viewed online at www.apm.org.uk/AGM2019] and for the purposes of identification marked ‘A’ are approved and adopted as the Charter and By-Laws of the Association in substitution for and to the exclusion of the existing Charter and By-Laws of the Association, subject to formal approval of the Privy Council and subject to any minor amendments that the Privy Council may require.

  • A continuing upper quartile performance in terms of turnout. 19.9% is a record turnout. The results over

recent years are set out below.

  • Under the Charter and Regulations, undertaken as a poll vote with the ballot delivering proxies to the
