Proposed Art Concept Ar$st ¡ ¡-­‑ ¡Joel ¡Pra. ¡with ¡Buka ¡Design ¡ Project ¡and ¡has ¡elements ¡that ¡=e ¡into ¡the ¡historic ¡fabric ¡of ¡the ¡Dog ¡Patch ¡ neighborhood. ¡ ¡ The ¡idea ¡is ¡to ¡take ¡a ¡large ¡reclaimed ¡cross ¡sec=on ¡from ¡a ¡Teak ¡wood ¡tree ¡ and ¡frame ¡it ¡out ¡using ¡blackened ¡hot ¡rolled ¡steel, ¡which ¡would ¡have ¡steel ¡ collars ¡anchoring ¡the ¡teak ¡root ¡to ¡the ¡steel ¡frame. ¡ ¡ ¡ The ¡steel ¡work ¡and ¡the ¡teak ¡=e ¡into ¡the ¡Dog ¡Patch ¡through ¡its ¡historic ¡ context ¡as ¡a ¡ship ¡building ¡district ¡and ¡where ¡the ¡last ¡boat ¡yards ¡exist ¡in ¡the ¡ city. ¡
