  2. Alternative Learning Plan-Early Childhood Teacher Expectations: ● All teachers will develop weekly activities that will be shared with parents. ● Activities will focus on: ○ Gross Motor Skills ○ Fine Motor Skills ○ Counting Games ○ Author/Teacher Read Alouds ○ Social Stories ○ Play

Alternative Learning Plan-Elementary Teacher Expectations: ● All teachers will develop weekly units/lesson plans. ● Units should supplement previously taught standards/learning content. ● Units should be able to be completed independently by the student. ● Units should reinforce skills that have already been taught. ● Teachers will provide daily support & feedback to students as needed.

Alternative Learning Plan-Elementary Student Expectations: ● Students will read daily. ● Students will engage in weekly units/lesson plans that are shared by classroom teachers. ● Students will submit work to teachers via their district email or preferred learning platform (Seesaw, Google Classroom, Canvas, etc.) to the extent possible for teachers to provide support and feedback to students.

Report Card Expectations-Elementary ● Teachers will complete an end of the year report card. ● Teachers will only report on the standards/competencies that were taught by the teacher prior to our school closure on March 18, 2020. ● Student proficiency indicators can only INCREASE not DECREASE as a result of learning that takes place during the school closure on March 18, 2020.

Alternative Learning Plan-MS & HS Teacher Expectations: ● All teachers will develop weekly units/lesson plans. ● Departments/teachers will limit new learning to important outcomes including identified power standards and/or competencies that are important for students to understand/master as they head into the next school year. ● Teachers will provide daily support & feedback to students as needed.

Alternative Learning Plan-MS & HS Student Expectations: ● Students will engage in weekly units that are shared by classroom teachers. ● Students will submit work to teachers via their district email or preferred learning platform (Seesaw, Google Classroom, Canvas, etc.) to the extent possible for teachers to provide support and feedback to students.

Report Card Expectations-MS & HS ● Teachers will complete an end of the year report card. ● Teachers will utilize the grading & assessment data that they collected prior to the school closure on March 18, 2020 to determine students’ final grade for the semester. ● Student grades can only INCREASE not DECREASE as a result of learning that takes place during the school closure. ● Teachers will provide ongoing feedback to students on any new power standards and/or competencies that have been taught via online learning since the school closure on March 18, 2020.

  9. Human Resources Working From Home Update ● Certified and support staff interviews taking place online. ○ Most support staff position recommendations for roles that would typically be starting this school year are on hold until normal operation are resumed or until next school year (custodial, bus drivers, food service, clerical, etc.). ● Staff evaluation processes continuing with employee conferences taking place by phone or using online conferencing software. ● Job description planning moving forward. ● Certified staff contracts will be distributed electronically by the end of this week. ● Other human resources operations taking place as normal (electronic filing, processing unemployment claims, paying bills, etc.).

  10. Communication Priorities: ● Share important information families, staff and community need to know. ● Maintain emotional connection with families and staff and ensure they know we are here for them.
