Lighting…

There has been a delay with street

CCTV Survey for U&C Road Drainage

Progress of contract…

Survey ongoing, discovery of silt and rubble has delayed progress. Survey has highlighted additional works such as cracked pipes which have required

• replacing. 90% of the CCTV is now

complete. Close to completion. Main roads such as London and Kestrel are finished, final few such as Park View to complete. IWNL to then inspect and adopt. These are complete apart from moving some individual grates on Holdenby. These works will see the installation of raised landscaped areas on London Road. Majority of crossovers are complete – example of these can be seen London

• Road. Breheny are yet to complete

additional crossovers on London and Kestrel Road. These will be complete when housebuilder construction is reduced.

Highway Repairs

Near completion – awaiting inspection from NCC to understand if any more works need to take place.

Final Footpath/Cycle Way Surfacing

Near completion – this is complete up to date and awaiting street lighting to be installed. Housebuilders to complete their own internal roads/footpaths.

Final Road Surfacing

Kestrel Road is the only area that is yet to be completed – this was due to a drainage issue which caused delays . The repair works are due to complete before Christmas, with final surfacing in the New Year.

Road Markings & Signage

We are awaiting sign off from NCC for the road markings and signage – part of the section 38 agreement.

The application for landscape design was granted 31st October for the County Wildlife

commence in early December and last 15 weeks.
