  9. ‘Demand’ on our police service • 551 ‘999’ calls • 94 arrests • 18 missing persons • 1,221 child protection conferences • 3,610 families supported through troubled families programme • 255 crimes will be reported • Crime related demand is just 19%

Priorities delivered • Defending frontline policing – PCSOs maintained – BCUs (Divisions) reduced from 6 to 3 to reduce management costs and overheads – Recruited 59 new officers – Continued to grow and expand our CiP programme – Invested in new technology and piloted mobile devices – Precept increase

  11. • Championing victims Priorities delivered: rights – New statutory obligations – Victims Strategy Developed – Lancashire Victim Services commissioned – Restorative Justice implemented

  14. 2015 and beyond… • Continue to deliver savings – £100m by 2021? • £80m investment required over five years – IT, fleet and estate – Funded from reserves, capital receipts and some borrowing may be necessary • Service redesign to continue – Futures – system review – Local policing will be maintained

Local policing – Local policing teams will cover every inch of Lancashire, you will know who they are and they will know your area 3. Serious crime – The Police will work hard to investigate serious and organised crime, terrorism & CSE
