2017 Ultimate Schedule

Game Schedule:

• One to two games per week
• Some away games; transportation provided

except to PA games

• Monday – Thursday, 3:00-5:00, times subject

• Each team’s location changes depending on

Greater Lawrence Technical School

• Major regional high school Ultimate tournament hosted by Andover Ultimate
• Tournament format:
• Saturday 4/29: Boys Div II, Girls Open (7 teams, each division)
• Sunday 4/30: Boys Div I (14 teams)
• Pool play or Round-robin format depending on number of teams
• Spirit of the Game winners for each division elected by the participants
• All games are at the Greater Lawrence Technical School (VocTech)
• Volunteers Needed
• One hour set-up Saturday and Sunday 7:00-8:00
• One hour clean up Saturday and Sunday 5:00–6:30
• Two hours shifts at the concession stand each day 9-11, 11-1, 1-3, 3-5

You Will Need:

• Cleats
• Light and Dark shirt
• Plenty of Water
• Permission & Emergency Info. form
• New England Twisters’ waiver form
• USA Ultimate Membership: Cost $34.50

Fees & Registration

• Self-funded Club Sport. No $ from high school or town.
• $225 Registration Fee paid to AYS. Register at AYS Website. By 4/2
• $100 Payment for Raffle Tickets (can be resold) – Check or Cash to

AUFBA

• $34.50 Membership Dues to USA Ultimate.

AUFBA & Fundraising

The Andover Ultimate Frisbee Booster Association (AUFBA) is composed of parents, players and Ultimate fans who support Andover Ultimate

• $225 Registration Fee Covers:
• Coaches’ stipends
• Transportation to away games and tournaments
• AUFBA raises funds to cover additional expenses
• Uniforms
• Tournament entry fees and expenses
• End of season banquet expenses
• Player subsidies
• Fundraising Sources:
• Raffle ticket sales (mandatory $100

minimum per player)

• Andover Invitational Tournament
• Canning
• Carwash
• Fuddruckers night
• Team Merchandise and Concession sales

Ultimate Raffle

• Every player required to purchase $100 worth of raffle tickets – 20 tickets at $5

each

• Players pay for the tickets up front, then sell them and keep the $
• Payment is due at the April parent meeting or pay at selected practices

Players do not receive a uniform until they buy tickets. Beginning April 28 Players who have not paid, do not play.

• Drawing will held at the end of year Andover Ultimate Banquet in June (winners do

not need to be present)

Other Fundraising

• Canning TBD all players take 2 hour shifts canning at

store locations in Andover

• Fuddruckers’ night TBD – come have dinner at

Fuddruckers; Andover Ultimate gets 20% of all proceeds with a coupon

• Clown Town Setup – May 20, 7-8:30 am – ALL

PlayersJV Every year Andona gives us a generous

• grant. To show our appreciation we help setup on the

Saturday morning of Clown Town.

• Car wash – June 10, 10:00-2:00 – all players take 2

hour shifts washing cars at West Middle School
