 Liberal profession established in 2001  The basic legal order is the Execution Code nr. 120/2001 Coll. on Judicial Officers and exectorial activity (since 2001 – more than 50 ammendments)  108 Judicial officers started in 2001 - Now 156  10 million inhabitants in the Czech Republic  7 million enforcement proceedings initiated  1 million obliged parties (debtors)

Judicial officer  Czech citizen who graduated the Faculty of Law  has the status of public official  activities are incompatible with other profit-oriented activities  acts are considered like the court’s acts  is authorized to effect all acts, which otherwise are committed to the judge, the administrator or to other court employee

authorizes him to conduct the proceedings

• The judicial officer searches for all debtors assets
