Strategic Direction
- The AMM Board met this past July to review and update
the AMM Strategic Plan
- As a result of that meeting the AMM Mission was updated
and a Value Proposition created
- The AMM Board reviewed current programs and services
to ensure they promote and support the new mission
- Based on the outcome of the meeting the Board is excited
to provide members and prospective members with more information regarding the association’s strategic direction and plans for the future.

AMM is dedicated to advancing the value and future of professional medical media.
Value Proposition
The AMM provides forums and resources for advancing professional medical media by establishing best practices, research and innovation through deep collaboration with a fully engaged diverse media
- community. Membership benefits include access to proprietary
information, relevant education sessions, professional development and valuable network opportunities to address constant change while advocating for the growth and future of medical media.
Strategic Initiatives
Expand and improve current AMM events to be relevant for all levels of the association
- AMM is always striving for ways to improve our various
educational and social events. programs and services are being reviewed by their respective committee’s
- Program committee is working hard to finalize the
educational programs planned for 2015
- The Nexus Committee is researching ways to make the
Nexus event even more relevant
To provide members with sound research and a variety of resources
- AMM will be launching a new Body of Knowledge on the
website in the coming weeks
- The Body of Knowledge will only be available to AMM
members and organized to allow for easy navigation
- This new section of the website will be continually
updated to provide members with the most up-to-date research they need
- AMM will also be looking to conduct research to fill current
gaps
Review & update current programs to meet the new AMM Mission and investigate new programs
- The goal is to maximize AMM’s programs and services to
better meet the needs of our members and their employees
- AMM will be investigating new program and member
benefits so that our members can have access to the latest in Medical Media
Form Alliances
- AMM is investigating potential alliances with similar
- rganizations and organization with similar missions
- Alliances help to strengthen an organization move AMM’s
mission forward
